Glen Winter, whose previous work includes directing the pilot episodes of Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow as well as key episodes of Smallville, Arrow, and The Flash in addition to a frequent role as Director of Photography on the various series, posted a photo on Instagram today from the set of the Black Lightning pilot in Atlanta.

The photo featured Glen with his son, Max, who you might recognize from the Supergirl Season 2 premiere. They are wearing hats with the classic comic book Black Lightning logo from the series created by Tony Isabella with Trevor von Eeden.

We are not entirely sure what Winter’s role on Black Lightning will be; Executive Producer Salim Akil is said to be the directing, so maybe Glen Winter is Director of Photography? In any event, it’s fun to get a peek into what things look like around the production!
